The Veterans Workforce Alliance (VWA) is a nonprofit dedicated to closing employment gaps for veterans, transitioning service members, and military families, especially in underserved communities of California’s Capital Region. By connecting employers with the resources and expertise needed to hire and retain veteran talent, VWA creates clear pathways into high-quality jobs across technology, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and other priority industries. Formed through a collaborative of public agencies, employers, higher education institutions, and nonprofit partners, VWA bridges the gap between employer needs and veteran experiences to ensure equitable access to meaningful careers.
